I am looking into getting some sort of watering system (beside the handheld system).   Looks like I need to determine my PSI in my hose before I can pick a drip system.

Does anyone have a pressure gauge they would want to sell?  Seems like one of those things that you need once and then store forever.

They should be relatively inexpensive at Home Depot.

Couldn't you just use a pressure regulator on your hose/hose bib?  I've used a drip kit from dripirrigation.com and they included a pressure regulator that appears to drop the pressure to a constant 25psi.  I haven't had any problems with blowouts in my system.

Just don't open the valves all the way if the pressure is too high, and turn off some of the lines when the pressure gets too low. Downhill sections will of course be the one's to blow out or over-pressure so remember that when opening their valves. I say wing it, it is not like you are dealing with 2 inch water lines and hundreds of pounds of pressure. Just observe how the system works at different pressures and open the valves accordingly so it works right.
