I love wine...I love tomatoes...I love all the amazing ways to describe them (a sassy wine, crushed rocks, grassy fields and sunshine....tomatoes that are like pineapples and the tropics - whatever!).

I'm new to this world and curious how you would describe your favorite figs. I've already seen some pretty amazing descriptions. So, if you have time, would you share? If it sounds good, i'm looking it up and might be on the hunt!

I haven't tasted many different varieties, but the best fig I've had so far is Gino's Black.  Makes me feel like this...

I havnt tasted tasted all these wonderful figs I see discribed here, but I'm looking forward to each and every one. 
In the meantime.

Figs are a lot like a lot of the finer things in my life, never had a bad one, LOL, the best one was the last one, LOL.  Remember Joyce Kilmer's ode to the tree...." I think I shall never see...."

For those that don't remember;

 It's been along time since my grandmother recited that to me. She had dementia but still remebered much of it from her school days.
