I have made a self-water barrel and placed Weedblock Fabric on top of the lath it should be better than burlap.Is it a bad idea?I bought Weedblock from Costco, cheaper than HD or Lowe.
I would assume that the weedblock fabric is a plastic of some sort, and will probably not wick the water like the burlap will.
