Weeping Fig

An excellent tasting fig discovered by Fignut. Could do with another day or 2 ripening. Have to battle big black wasps
targetting ripening figs.

Nice. Do you have any shots of the tree? Also, is this the same Black Weeping that Bass sells? Another thread linked this one to Sal's Corleone. Is it a similar type but unique or is it the same as Sal's C? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

@ John, I am not sure whether this is the same tree that is labelled by Bass as Black Weeping. I have seen the thread/posting linking it to Sal's Corleone. I picked 2 Sal's C at the same time I picked Weeping
Fig and Weeping Fig is at least 2 times larger than Sal's C. Thus far all the Weeping figs picked from my tree are large, like a good large size Santa Rosa plum or larger. Taste wise they seem to be closed and both my Sal's C and Weeping fig can be classified as in-ground as their roots have grown out from the pots since last year.
