Welcome Home Delight Pics

Just got back Today from a 7 day cruise on an Italian cruise line Costa in Southern Caribbean. The first thing I did of course was to check my trees and what a nice surprise after a 7 day Italian eat fest.
I was particularly surprised of the great taste of the Conadria. A sweet full berry taste with a great seed crunch. I could have taken a knife and spread it like a preserve out of a bottle with no sugar added. The figs as you can see were very ripe and I lost a few that were over done.
The Conadria are the 2 cut figs upper right

Wow, Florida!
My [NJ] yard is frozen solid like concrete (20*F).

Nice crop for this time of year. I've been picking Guavas and a few figs from my greenhouse as well. Outside it was 18° yesterday I also picked a few frozen persimmon, they were very tasty.

Thanks Gorgi and Bass I'm looking forward to the coming year as I hope my trees will ripen at the proper time. Most of my trees are less than 1 year old and I will be potting up in the coming months.
Having been living in Fl for over 25 yrs it is hard for me to relate to winter and all the hard work you guys and gals go through to protect figs and other precious plants. I hope I did not mess up these trees by not picking the young fruits off since they came on so late in the year as many suggest. It is a real treat to have figs this time of year and am hoping for some on the Christmas table If Santa is reading this.
