Just packed away most of my trees in preparation of Hurricane Sandy. Here's a pic. More at: http://photobucket.com/albums/s385/7deuceoff/greenhouse

How sturdy is that greenhouse? Suzi
Oh wow... I want a green house...
Hopefully sturdy enough to handle a hurricane. I will update this post afterwards. It is a Riga V and it does feel very solid.
Very nice,I just did the garage fig shuffle this morning.
Jason Really nice looking green house full of your figs! I think all of us Along the east coast are in the same proverbial boat. Had to hijack our sunroom this afternoon and moved all of our our our outdoor plants into this room, including our smaller fig trees. Just finished up removing two air layers I had on my Hardy Chicago, along with two more suckers with roots. Post some more photos of your greenhouse! Looks great. Let's hope the storm fizzles out.
Maro more pics at photobucket link in 1st post
7deuce,Really nice. Where do you get your pots. Especially the thick walled ones to the left in photo #1?
http://homeharvest.com/containergardenpotsplastic.htm 20 gallon They had 25 in the summer which were even better. Shipping is a little pricey but I can't find them locally.
Hi Jason, How long did it take you to install your greenhouse? How many people to put it up?I want one bad!!!Art
You've done a beautiful job on your greenhouse. Very impressive.
I started digging out the base with Lukeott and then decided to hire someone to finish the base plus install electricity and water which took 2 days and 4 guys. I installed the actual greenhouse with my wife in one day. The tinkering and small things afterwards is still a work in progress but lots of fun.
Thanks for the kind words.
All the best Jason. Be safe. Fig trees are easily replaceable.
My neighborhood got very lucky. No damage, power loss, or downed trees and we are 10 miles from AC.
Jealous... :/ Just kidding, great setup, fantastic greenhouse, beautiful plants! I may have to show these pics to my wife next spring around my birthday, however.
