well, CdDB and Longue D'Aout is swelling.

Very nice Pete. I  am looking forward to both of those.

Pete,

Those are nice figs. Think you were not very lucky this season with all that rain and threats of more.
Always look at the weather forecasts in the US and as I said to Mike if I was to live in those regions, I would be getting lots of heart attacks !

I cannot stand seeing a fig tree full of ripe end ripening figs and then...rain arriving.

Wish you good luck

Francisco

franscisco, before started growing figs, i didn't really care about weather at all. if it rained, that was good. if it didn't rain, that was also good. but this fig thing is changing whole outlook on how i view weather. tho, i still don't understand why my father and father in law like to watch weather channel all day long on the tv.

Looks good, so far my CddB hasn't put out any figs in time to eat, but this year is the first year and the gris and noir have been putting out monster figs with one splitting and one souring so one noir left we will see how it fairs, blanc , may be the choice for me in the end though.

Very nice pic.   My little tree has ripened a handful so far.  Those are darn good figs.

Here are Pete's two fig types
