Is that making you change your mind about yellow figs? I know you prefer dark figs.

Well sweep farm owner collects figs and other fruit and herbs from different ethnic communities in northern Jersey. He also traveled to Greece and collected a whole bunch of cuttings. One of his trees was this one, he have no clue where it came from.
He grows them in the ground adding sheep manure to the ground. The trees get loaded with figs, then in the fall he digs them up and place them in big containers and store them in a cellar.
So I'm not sure how hardy it is.

Bass... Can't believe all the figs you have coming ripe already... And each one as beautiful as the next... Should have my first by Monday, if the sun shows its face any time soon...

This tree is growing in container. Most of my varieties are in pots currently and a few in the ground. The potted trees were kept dormant in a greenhouse and were taken out at beginning of may and that's when they broke dormancy.
Potted trees normally bear figs earlier than in ground trees.

Where can I get some Well Sweep cuttings? Will buy or trade.

My tree didn't grow much last year after big chewed by he mice over winter. Otherwise i would offer it.

Please check with Jon he has the same variety. He May sell the cuttings in a couple months.
