Wet Vac Container

My neighbor was throwing out this wet vac container and i asked if i could have it. I like to water my plants with rain water 1 day will break down and get several rain barrels hooked to my yard gutters. In mean time i filled it with about 20 gallons of water but now cannot move it on on the cobblestone walkway as i have had a hernia on each side and well there painful, its enough trying to move those 30g containers in the backround. Ignore the timestamp it always goes off date now when i have to fiddle with the batteries in camera to upload and it resets. I will put a cover on it for now not to have a bug breeding ground and eventually use it for a potted fig plant.

Excellent example of "repurposing" an item that would otherwise go into the landfill. Way to go Martin!

Martin:
Same reason I hated the brick patios and sidewalks I had when I moved here.  Nothing wanted to roll on them, and the worms kept putting up castings between them so that they sank.

I'd love to have several of those rolling pots; saves buying furniture dollies.  As for the rain barrels, go to some resale place, or Craigslist, and look for pickle barrels.  The Greeks ship both olives and pickles in brown barrels shaped like the old time whiskey barrels.  They have a (believe it or not) screw top that can be re-used, they hold about 40 gallons (a bit smaller than the pop syrup barrels) and are not unattractive.  They would make excellent rain barrels and can hold enough perch or goldfish to eliminate the mosquito problem.  (I just trapped and relocated a few green sunfish this morning to take care of a mosquito problem)

Those are nice looking fig trees.
