That is a dense cluster of figs! What variety is that? Mike in Hanover, VA
Capri Figs tend to do that ...but you never know...
Capri fig
Hi kurab2556,Nice cluster. I would think of a caprifig. But if not : how will those fig swell up ? There is no space for them to expand and ripen nicely.Still, the photo is nice !
Hello kurab,Can you open a fig and show us what's inside ??FranciscoPortugal

kurab,I see... you are curious about that prolific variety.Think they are not edible ( I may be wrong..) This looks like how the first crop of the Caprifig /Profichi shows, in nice cluster of fruit on the top of the branches -on previous year's woodIf the picture corresponds to the date it was first shown in 'infojardin' blog - May01/2011 - it matches the features of Profichi figs around 30 to 45 days before being ripe and liberating the pollen loaded fig wasps .Here you have pictures, showing clusters of ripe Profichi figs (19thJune/2013) and wasps leaving these fruit to pollinate nearby Smyrna figs. This is a different variety of Caprifigs .
