What do you recommend?

I've been flipping through posts, and a few names I see often, and others not so much.
As I mentioned in my first post, I only have Chicago and love the taste. Plus, in the year that I've owned them, they appear to be super easy to grow.

What do you guys recommend?
I'm zone 6a, but very close to 5b, and though I'd love to have another one to put in the ground, I will most likely pot everything and store them in the garage or cellar in the winters. Last year I kept one of my Chicagos in a cold window sill at school while it was small.

Thanks!

Chris

Chris,

You might do well with Violette de Bordeaux, Acciano, Ronde de Bordeaux, Chiapetta (unk), Green Ischia, but you may develop or already flavor preferences that make you gravitate one way or another.

Hi Chris, it's been awhile since I've looked through this thread, but you might find some useful information here:

Good luck ... and have fun.

My problem Is ripening the figs,we don't seem to get the late sun here, so I have gone on this hit list.
Am guessing your problem will be winter die back out side?
