I grow some unusual things here in Massachusetts. Outdoors I have several very large and productive gooseberry bushes that I started 20 years ago. I believe they are supposed to be Pixwell gooseberries, and they make delicious preserves and pies. They are thorny as heck and tons of work, but at least the fruits hang away for easier picking. I also grow ground cherries every year, though the squirrels stole them all last summer.

In containers,

3 pineapples
2 pineapple guavas (feijoa)
Pomegranate
Bearr's lime
Meyer Lemon
Vaniglia Sanguino low acid orange
Meiwa kumquat
Ginger
Sweet potatoes (orange, purple, and white)
Mango
French tarragon
Leutschauer paprika
