I am assuming this little cutting i got from a 3 feet inmature shrub is a fig tree!
I cut this pair of leaves from the actual fig and the cutting set a new leaf which is different as it is its first leaf. Somebody please tell me if it is a fig and what type is it? Thank you

Leaf doesn't look like a fig to me at least a ficus carica. It may be another species of ficus. Looks like MJ. ;-)

Leaves look like MJ, the plant certainly does not.  I do not think you will be eating any figs from this.

The dank fig, it's a bit skunky yet intoxicatingly sweet. In a pot it grows like a weed and the figs have a blunt shape. ;)

I think they grow all over Colorado and Washington.
