what figs are you growing and what figs are you looking to taste this yr?

Looking forward to tasting Smith, Hollier, Champagne, LSU Gold...

All the regular col de damas (noir, blanc and gris) and Noire de Barbatane.

I'm going to do my best to get a ripe Purple Jordan. It's going to get a head start in the greenhouse.
I've yet to see any ripe pictures of it in the states.

Most of my collection hasn't fruited yet and I'm hoping to taste many new figs this year.  Ones that rise to the top in interest are: Kathleen's Black, Col de Dame Blanc, Figo Preto and several others.

I should be able to taste LSU Purple, Scotts Black, Improved Celest and Smith this year. Planning on pulling off all other figs because of its there first year. Want growth the first year. Next year will be the real deal!

Since I'm new to fig growing, all I am hoping for this year is a couple home ripened figs off the Hardy Chicago I purchased last year (about 20 inches tall), and the small Latarulla and an unknown green that a kind forumer donated to me.  I have about a dozen varieties rooting and leafing out but don't plan to let any of those keep their figs, should they develop any this year.
