What happened to The_Montreal_fig?

Hello everyone!

I have been silent for an while and I had a few things that have been happening. First, I should probably change my nick to something like “The_European_Fig”. More explicitly, I am now living in Europe and it means you now have another forum member from Europe.

With all this, I now am restarting my collection from scratch and looking forward to see how this season will go. The good news is am now living in zone with a much more warmer climate. `The fact is that spring has already started since early April and this is way ahead compared to Montreal.

Also, I just returned from another fig hunting trip in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I had the chance to visit Sarajevo and the historic town of Mostar.  When I will have a moment I will post more details.

Kind regards,

Michal

OH BOY! I hope you will have some interesting cuttings for trade in the future! Keep us posted.

Welcome back Michal. We missed you and look forward to your travel journals. The vine fig is standing tall, the Turkish fig tree is growing well and I have been eating strawberries. Keep us posted as your new collection increases.

Howdie Michal  --  good to hear from you here & for keeping me posted via FB messaging. Good new name. If you need specific variants to re-start and you think I have, do write. Most happy to help. I have pretty good success in rooting my E'pean variants this season. Have fun and hope to hear more about E'pean variants discovered in your fig hunts.

Did you go to Mostar Bridge!?  My Bosnian friend won't shut up about it when we talk about his trips home.
