Can you tell me Unifere and Bifere?

I don't know what this is about studying fig studying.

from Latin: "uni" = one, "bi" = two, "fer" = carry.  So a "unifere" variety carries one crop, a "bifere" variety carries two crops.

What's the occasion?  And do you get there often?  Given ample time and decent weather, you should come visit sometime.  RIMike is also just across the bridge in Portsmouth.  

I appreciate the offer but I'm in no rush to add new varieties -- my work load is already heavy.  But you know how the addiction operates.  Tomorrow is another day.  We should exchange lists.

FYI I grew up near you in Fairfield.
