What is this beastie?

It came crawling out from under the mulch when I was watering the satsumas. 

I think they will be yellow swallowtail butterflies.

According to the internet they can cause problems in citrus because they feed heavily.

They are the largest butterfly in North America, how about that!

maybe the end product might be beautiful, but that thing in the pix is butt ugly.

The coloration is a defense mechanism, when small they look like bird poo on the leaf, and nobody likes to eat poo.

You are all wrong. It is someone I was fixed up with on a blind date when I was in high school.

blind date shouldn't be allowed unless you are visually chellenged (blind) and can't see the date.
