I'm not good at identifying figs but looks like a honey type fig.
Do you have any history, origin on it , can you ask dad?
Where is he from (his bloodline), a lot of times people are attached to figs of their own counties...regions. Something that would remind them of their childhood perhaps.
Edit: Also, I don't want to mislead but...reminds me of MaryLane (Seedless), in my case this one is Caprified. But the leaves of MaryLane are mostly 3-lobe and the middle one elongated.
Your fig has somehow of a Pulp texture of Holier fig.
