Attention Fig Detectives.... Here is a tree that I planted many years ago and have no recollection which one it is. The figs are delicious and this was a rescue mission as this poor tree was in a pot in the wrong place. I put these little twigs between my 2 air conditioners (I think the heat of those units help) and haven't covered it in my NJ zone 7a side yard for 5 years. It always made figs but they never ripened. Finally last year it exploded, in both size and deliciousness of fig. I just don't remember which variety it is. I had only bought about 4-6 different varieties back then so I could narrow it down to: Hardy Chicago, Alma, Celeste, an Italian White fig, or maybe one or two others.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I posted an air layering question last week and that tree was from this one.
Any help and knowledge is appreciated and highly respected
Thanks
Coop
