I'm a newbie to this forum.. Recently, my friend gave me a beautiful plant. May someone know what kind of fig is? It has coconut smell, grow from seeds of a dubai dry yellow fig. Thanks.

if it's grown from a seed, your guess is as good as mine. it's not one of the named figs for sure. when a fig is grown from seed, it will not clone the parent tree. so, it's entirely a new fig :) 

The leaves are very attractive. Hopefully you will get edible figs from it too.

That is a Ficus afghanistanica seedling.
