What My S.I.L. Brought to Thanksgiving

Sorry everyone. I took this pic with my iPad and do not have the toolbar for inserting an image from Photobucket. I also have not reviewed any photo editing apps which will let me reduce the size of the image to under one mb.

Anyway, here is the link:

It is basically fig pulp and pectin, and it is oh so tasty.

I got some fig jam recently, and it is delicious!  Nice sister in law!!

Suzi

i ate stupid last night. a spoonful of that stuff would have been coup de grâce.

You mean like this?

All you have to do is go to the image in your web browser (You got it to the web already, that's how I could find it), If you're on a PC right click, on a Mac I think it's control-click, whatever brings up the menu.  select something like 'copy image location'.  Then come to F4F, click on the 5th icon from the right which you might imagine looks like a greenish TV on a stand.  A box will pop up.  on the PC you hit control-V for paste.  On the mac you'll need someone else to tell you   :)  Then hit enter and the photo pops up.  I have this, too.  It's not as good as you might imagine but better than nothing when you run out of figs  :)

What a deal, count your blessings, she could have brought fruit cake : )

That fig butter looks really good. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it the next time we go to TJ's.

i happen to love fruit cake.. i still remember my father buying fruit cake every christmas.. didn't know the reputation of fruit cake until i came to US.. lol

I also really like a nice fruitcake. What I don't like about many of them are those horrible candied fruits they contain. But one made with unadulterated dried fruits such as apricots, peaches, raisins, and lots of nuts can be really good.
