I bought two of these from a Memphis, TN area nursery. The tag calls them "King Arthur" figs but I haven't found that variety anywhere I have looked. They do look a bit like the "King" variety but I was wondering if anyone had an idea what variety this is: .c King Arthur.JPG c 2 King Arthur tree.JPG c 3 King Arthur fruit.JPG

To better help you. Can you help narrow it down? Is it breba only? Is it common fig, ie breba and main? Not an expert but I would lean towards King ( Dessert King ). Assuming it is breba only. Good luck

Forgive my ignorance, but what does "breba" mean?

Max , this is from Jon's site: BrebaFruit produced on wood which grew in the previous season. Also called "profichi" in Italian. Also known as the Spring crop. Breba producing varieties are important in cool and short season climates, and may be the only crop that ripens in those climates, such as the Pacific Northwest.

Is this a great site or what. Not only do you learn a wealth of knowledge about figs but you can pick up a little Italian along the way.

Wow, I will have to go look and see. The trees are only in their second season so they don't have much wood yet.
