What was your best light fig of 2013?

I just had one super ripe Col de Dame Blanc fig and I must say that the more cracking and bruising on the outside the better the taste of this top tasting fig. It's not easy to compare tastes when you sample figs one at a time on different days. After careful consideration, if I had to keep only one Light fig of all the figs I have, Col de Dame Blanc would be that fig.

I'd have to say for named varieties, JH Adriatic was the best and followed by Salce and Brooklyn White.
I do have a few very good unknowns that I'm trying to ID.

Here 2 pic of my Vasilika melissi (really beautiful fig and very tasty)

Then 3 pic of Grise du brégoux One of my favorites it very much looks like my RDB but IMO it is a better fig.

And a pic of my lovely Violette de solliès

Someone's going to have to pm Martin so he sees this...

Niagara Black was the best. closely followed by CdDB. but they are so different. St. Rita was also awesome. for productivity and taste, Paradiso Gene.

My Hadoulis F White

Thats why many call figs either light or dark instead of assigning a color to it types because they can look different
depending on where one grows it.

Love it when i can post a dark type in a light type thread .
Bada Bing!
Hi guys, is there a way I can get some cuttings of the dark type that you have posted the pic of? they look sensationally delicious. I can trade with some of mines if you like.
