I may be a newbie. But isnt black madeira black. Why does it say white?

Ha! I saw a posting today on eBay for "Non-Variegated Jolly Tiger" and I thought exactly the same thing. "I may be a newbie, but..."
Looks like they might have a difficulty with English. It also says "grown in Madeira..." So it could be any fig grown there, and they could have purposely left the black in for more search hits.
So it was a advertising ploy
Maybe the figs are black. The bark of the tree is is white. Or maybe the person is color blind.
It's on the internet, it must be true.
