Whats a good soil to use that doesnt require a lot of mixing?

That article raises some questions. I was going to add a little bit or some type of natural fertilizer like manure, compost or something similar. He recommends not to.

71GTO, check hydroponic stores for FoxFarm soil.

71GTO, don't know if you want to order off the internet but you can get FoxFarm from http://www.atlantishydroponics.com/Soil-and-Growing-Media

Thanks guys, it is something to check into. I don't know of any hydroponic stores around my area. I'm just curious to see what new stuff is out there. The mix I have been using since last year sees to be working well, so I'm not try to mess with it to much, but I like to know whats out there.

I usually use Fox Farms Happy Frog. Sometimes I mix some extra perlite to improve drainage and stretch the mix. The garden center I used to work at used Fafard Best or Fafard gold, don't know what it's called these days. My Grandmother used to use Pro-Mix and would use nothing else. I also like the Jungle Growth at Lowe's. The one thing that all of these mixes  that everyone has mentioned have in common is that they're all good, premium mixes. I think if you get a good premium mix you'll do well.
