There is a discoloration (brown spots) on most leaves on 3 of my figs. Is this a disease, nutrient issue, something else?Any thoughts.Andrew

Looks like its from moisture . Mine get this late in season mostly from dew late at night. Next season when new leaves appear they will be fine.
Add water. It is probably too late in the season to add fertilizer, which will cause a growth flush when the plant should be heading to dormancy. The black spots are from under watering, excessive heat, or the beginning of fall.
When I first started brewing beer, I used this book. In the book, the author kept repeated following phrase. I find this works very well for growing fig as well. "Don't worry. Relax. Have a homebrew."
