When will I get fruit?

I planted 2 Italian Everbearing trees in Feb. 2016 here in Orlando, Fl, U.S.A. I'm wondering how old they have to be in order to get fruit. They are in ground in full sun. I also have one in a pot on my patio and it grows better with more leaves and compact growth.

Next spring when you have 5-6 leaves on a branch pinch the growing tips off the ends. That will force the tree to branch out more and start producing fruit.

Hi,
Depending on the size at purchase time, your trees could bear fruits next year or in three years.
It takes some time for the trees to adapt to the new spot.
Here, it usually takes 3 years for a tree to start producing, and 5 to be in full production. That is with trees that don't get a set back or a die-back and that are watered and fertilized and not root-bound ...
Patience patience patience ...

Cynthia,
How big are they?  Did they put on new growth?  That would indicate at least a good environment.  You live in a fig friendly location for sure.  Maybe consider growing another variety known to be productive.  I've got cuttings I started in Dec that had 20-30 figlets in July.  I pulled them off, leaving only one or two to get better growth for next year.
