Where to find cuttings!

I'm a science teacher in southern New York state and I'm eager to start planting figs with my students.  Do you have any suggestions for places I could acquire some cuttings?  I'm not sure where to start.

Welcome to the forum! Ebay right now has an auction for inexpensive cuttings search "genoa fig cuttings" and I know they are viable because they all came to life for me. There are also a ton of Brown Turkey cuttings on there for a really low price.
Good Luck with them.

Awesome, thanks!  Do you have any idea if Brown Turkey or Genoa would be better suited to the chilly northeast?  (We're probably zone 6B.)

Have a look around the forum, use the search to find varieties good for your area but if you're using them for a science project these are inexpensive right now. At the top of the forum list are 2 threads Jon put in. Try looking through those for a host of information you may need and I believe there are lists of which trees where in the country.
Best of Luck.
