Where's the Sun?

Geeeez!
Since I put my figs outside mother nature has been trying to drown them. I have only watered once in 3 weeks and sure aren't worrying about hardening them to sunlight.

vent vent vent!!!

As a southerner I'm just not used to this constant rain. I feel like I did when I lived (for a short time) in Seattle (well Bellevue).

whine whine whine.

I known it's bad form to complain about receiving water, especially when our water table is still down, but my dogs going to chew my leg off out of frustration that I won't walk him in this slop. It's not a good warm rain. It's chilly and wet and relentless.

blather blather blather whine vent ETC.

Ah, that felt better.

The sun is here, in Southern California!

I'm sorry Michael, moving to Texas from Kirkland, I have the same mind set. I turn into the biggest whiner if it gets cold and especially when it's gray Seattle weather.

Go ahead, get it out. Pat pat pat, better now? :)

DD -- yes but I have no smog. I also have no commute and don't have to sit in hours of traffic on the 405 or 101, etc. I do not miss CA. If the truth be told I think the traffic in Northern Va is worse then LA. Hmmmm -- if, you do in fact live in LA. I was just guessing. Hopefully you live in Santa Barbara or Monterey or even Santa Cruz, etc.

Tami, thx 4 the pats. My poor dog is just following me from room to room and he can do "oh pity me" better then any other dog I've seen. Where's Kirkland?

Michael,
I feel your pain. Since I planted my vegetable garden 2 weeks ago I have gotten 9.4 inches of rain. Hopefully my seeds don't rot.

It's right next door to Bellevue Michael.

womack -- ouch! You'll be lucky if seeds aren't soggy slop.
Tami -- duh! geez. Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most. I guess I was too busy trying to buy beer to notice. I was 19 when I moved there and you had to be 21 to buy beer which was just heartbreaking to me at that age. I guess.

In Sydney Austraila sunny 75 degrees f ,trees should go dormant soon LOL.

I don't know where the sun is but frost will be visting our Northeast friends Sunday night. Perfect storm of cold, calm and clear. Good luck preparing y'all.

The rain finally stopped! But . . . always a but - have rain forecasted for the next 3 days. arrgghh.

That frost is scary but it shouldn't hit as hard as that graphic looks.

My little water logged figgies look sad but are ok.

What a cold wet spring. I sure hope my figs that need a lot of heat aren't getting too late a start.

I guess the cicadas will be late.

I will have to keep bird feeders in the house much later this year as the bears are really going to be hungry now and they'll come right up on my deck for birdseed. Going to have to keep trash cans in the garage as well. Ah -- the country. Gotta love it.

thank god for living on the great lakes for some of us....
