Which are the best fig varieties for the tropic?

I live in Puerto Rico, hot island, we don't have winter here. The temperature here is between high 80's to mid 90's. On very few days it can reach 75. We have a lot of sun and moderate amount of rain. What type of figs do you think better suit my conditions?

In Malaysia (zone 12-13) Brown Turkey is very popular and easy to grow.

That one is in my list! Thanks!

BT rupture and sour easy. Bugs enter large eye. Best to avoid growing varieties with
wide eye or large figs in the tropics. Large figs are prone to splitting. Go with tight/small eye
varieties like Negronne(aka VdB), LSU Champagne, LSU O'rourke, LSU Purple, LSU Improved
Celeste etc.

I can advise in a humid climate varieties. White Adriatic, lardaro, Purple Abkhaz, Russian dwarf ,Dalmatian. They have been tested in Malaysia and gardeners in this country willing to grow these varieties.

Thank you all for your replies!!!
