Hi Ross, The best way to know is to test them yourself at your location and side by side. Small differences can make one of them better suited to your climate. My neighbor has what I believe is "Stella" (she looks like) and I have "Dalmatie" (that is what the tag said) and my version ripens faster, and in Zone7 that is a huge difference. The figs on his tree are not as numerous but bigger, but because of their size, they need more hot and dry weather to ripen perfectly... So now, he is getting cardboard tasting figs ... here in Zone7 - if we were in Zone9 ...

hi ross green ischia/ verte and strawberry verte/strawberry are all synonyms for the same fig.
