White mildew

I have mildew on some of my figs tree leaves that where in the greenhouse, I have had it on my cucumbers leaves before but this is the first time it's gone onto the figs trees,
Can anyone please recommend any home remedies ? And does it effect the tree/fruit in anyway.?

Many thanks
Luke

got a pic?

Powdery mildew on myrtles is cured by the neem oil. I am not sure if it's good for figs though.

Luke i get similar outdoors in yard on fig leafs at times perhaps its residue from pollution in air and with some moisture dries this way much like a hard water stain.
In my case i ignore and nothing ever becomes of it.

Edit: Just went in yard to see if i could spot any and saw a few similar.
Not sure about your greenhouse ones i dont have greenhouse but your spotting looks the same.

Luke, this looks like salt from your water spray not the mildew I know

Ok , I always try not to spray the leaves when watering but thanks for the info. I will just ignore the marks.

Luke,

I get powdery mildew on my roses because of the humidity and water hitting the leaves. I have used milk to get rid of it. Not 100% effective but it helped a lot.

Try it but apply it early in the morning or late at night with a spray bottle. The focus is not to apply it under the sun. Need it to dry off on the leaves without the help from the sun.

Wash it off after a week or so but early in the morning so the leaves will dry off before the sun gets too hot.

Good luck and hope this will help.

Edit: Greenfig was right. Not mildew on Lukes. Martins,,,,???
