White Triana (JM) 2014

I hope yours tasted good. Mine from JM never did come around so it is history.

Leon,  How was the taste? I don't know if mine will ripen any figs this year.

Guys, give this fig more time. Last year, it did not come close to the size and the taste of the fig you see in these photos. My wife said it was one of the most tastiest, rich flavored white figs we've had this season. I too, was going to give up on this fig but after today, it's staying in the collection. It's productive and it showed no signs of souring with all of the rain we've had.

Leon, in my climate, and without a lot of rain, it is the sweetest fig I've ever tasted.

That's supposed to be his best fig (JM). I was planning on chucking my Morle Paradiso after this crop but it has improved dramatically this season.

I had two of these trees. One I gave to an old Italian friend of mine and I decided to keep the other another season (almost gave up on it for same reasons last year). I'm glad that I did.

Mine is in its first year. Bought it on advice from JM. It is suffering from a light case, so far, of FVW and has produced few figs but many side branches. I am giving it time, maybe 3 or 4 years!  Joe

Leon this was my favorite white fig last season great flavor and productive. It took 3 years to ripen figs but it was definately worth the wait.

I have a first year from JR as well. It grew vigorously this year in ground in coastal NC, lots of side branches and few figs in stagnant stage. Mine also has minor FMV symptoms.

Heard nothing but raving feedback on White Triana. Can't wait to add one to my collection. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to hear that Nelson! How did your English Brown Turkey do this year?

Today's pick. Large sweet figs.

Great Looking Photos, the interior looks Syrupy.  Will look to add this to my collection.

Armando, there is such a big difference from the figs this tree produced last year compared to this year. These could have gone another day but I picked them before the raccoons could get them.

Hi Leon, my EBT just broke dormancy about 4 weeks ago I'm happy it's alive but worried it's running out of time to harden off new growth a real shame too as this is my personal favorite all around fig.

Nelson,
No worries, mine broke dormancy in time but it only produced several smallest figs this year. 2015 will be better for both of us.
