White U/K pics

This is a cutting I rooted in mid March and potted up In mid to late April. It is doing extremely well. It has 12 little figs and putting out more. I will post again when tree is more developed and figs ripen hopefully.

Sorry I still don't know how to re size I'm using photo bucket.

wow i enjoy looking at your pictures. what kind of fig is that in the middle, did it start from one stick or one with multiple branches. there is a way to resize your pictures on photobucket.

click the little insert picture icon under the front size. Next right click on the picture you want to use and click view image. just copy and paste the url and put it in the image icon when that happen your picture will show up on the forum and resize.

Hi Sal
heres what you do since you use same as me Photobucket.

Do what you normaly do to upload your pictures in photobucket Except this before uploading pictures.

where it says upload slightly down to the right is a drop down arrow
click it and select this   800 x  600  ( 15 inch screen)

then upload picture

after picture uploads put your mouse in picture and click it.

wait till it loads the picture you just clicked

now, right click in that picture and save that to folder of your choice.

now its done and resized for a thumbnail that we sometimes see in this forum messages.
Type your  message and at bottom left corner in blue color you see where it says

Manage Attachments

click that and a window opens up and click where it says Browse to find that picture you just saved to hard drive folder , then click upload give it a few seconds and its done doing that.
Click Post message and bada bing bada boom you did it!!!
If you click preview it will show just a link which actually means it went thru.
Once posted you will see a small picture which is your thumbnail well not your real thumbnail but thats what they call it. You just resized your picture small enough for this message board which requires it to be under 1 megabyte. Now there might be easier way with camera or some other program but since you use photobucket this way does work well for me and once you do it a couple times it becomes easy.

Americanfigboy, It is a white or green unknown. I pruned my mother in laws tree in Mar. and I took cuttings I rooted 10 and 8 took. I gave 5 away and kept 3. She tells me they are green with red pulp Her tree was loaded after I pruned but the birds and squirrels got to it so I personally haven't seen a ripe one. I will give 1 plant to her so that she can keep it in a pot on her patio. It was an 8 to 10 inch cutting it branched off by itself I think it all depends on variety some are faster rooters or growers I'm also new but this is what I have come to observe. Other posters also report that some varieties grow or root more easily.  I believe these would be called main crop since they are all on new growth please correct me if I'm wrong.  Now I see what you were talking about AFB. They are all the same fig the small one in green pot was just started 2mo ago Yesterday it went to a new home I gave it to a co-worker of my wife.
