Who sent me Panachee ??

Hey everyone TONYSAC here I just want to know for sure who sent me Panachee cuttings I have soooo many PM's to look through to make a positive id Im pretty sure I know who it was but please let me know for sure Your gonna wanna see one of these cuttings in action and I want to make sure you do If you dont want to publicly tell me Just sen me a PM or an email and then I will post the pics its to late now and im going to bed thanks for the help guys and gals.

Tony, I didn't send it to you, but I learned this hard lesson too.  Now, I put the donor's name on the baggie and then on the tag as the cutting grows so I don't forget.  I know you are, as am I and everyone else here, grateful to receive cuttings, and we don't want to seem ungrateful by not reporting on progress especially to the one who gifted us the cutting!

Good luck finding the member who gave you Panachee.

Ha!  I just made a typo (fixed it) on Panacheer!  What a great name that would be.  It's a very cheerful, happy fig!  Sort of the clown of the orchard with all those stripes, and the flavor certainly brings cheer!

Suzi

I sent u two sets of panache cuttings. Remember the first set was packaged funny and came out like paper mâché, so then I sent another set in the proper ziplock. Hope they are working out for you.

Oh yeah, would love to see pics!

A belated (not me!):

Not me....

Nice. Was that from the paper mâché batch? I know I sent some to others like this. I wrapped in damp newspaper and instead of ziplock, I put them in a "plastic" envelope from USPS and then stuck the whole thing in a priority box. Well those USPS envelopes must not hold air well because it all dried up when it got there. Sorry to whoever got those, but tonysac set me straight and zip locks are the way to go.

By the way, I got the original tree on 9/11. Wandering around in a daze that day and for some reason decided to get it.

You know what FF I have no clue as to what batch I honestly dont remember a second batch but my memory is going down hill for sure.
9/11 huh im wondering if that makes it a good tree or a bad tree ?
Maybe this tree could be a memorial of all those who lost there lives that day and may they live on in our trees.

I got a package of panache from Jon today.  Did you reply to his thread about having extra segments last week?  If so, that may be where you got 'em.  The ones I got are about 14 inches long.

No Greg def not Jon these where rooted last month.

looks great tony. let me know if it fruits for you in your zone. i was thinking about getting one but am still on the fence about it.

You got it Dave if it does fruit in my location by that time I could probably send you some cuttings.

Hi Tony - that looks great!  When did you start rooting?  When did you put it in the cup?

Hey Jo-Ann I put in the cup Jan 3rd but Im pretty sure I rooted them for probably 2-3 weeks I let them really root good where there it is an actual root ball of moss and roots then I bury it all.

Yours is a bit ahead of mine - started rooting on Dec 22, waited for some good roots and cupped on Jan 11.  I am thrilled to have it!

Me to I just hope it grows here !
