A little small in size compared to mother tree fig. No Pink pulp
Sweet but bland if that makes seance nothing in the taste that jumped out, not crunchy but thin skinned The mother tree fig was much better sweeter and more flavorful. I might have picked to early but the skin was developing brown spots. Now that I think about it the mother fig was very ripe with brown spots. I'll wait longer next time The tree does seem productive so I'll give it a 3 yr reprieve

Its very similar to my Yellow Serbian Unknown I just started mine from a cutting this summer but heres a pic of the person who gave me the cutting.

Here is my plant its 23 Inches tall from the soil line now. Rooted in aug.this year

They sure do look similar I expect to pick in the next week and i will try to post pics of the inside I ate one from the mother tree earlier in the year and it was honey colored on inside my mother in -law said hers had a little red inside so we'll see

thanks for responding. I don't know if you can see but one fig has more red in the eye than the other.

Nice looking plant by the way ya definately post some pics of the cut figs. I know Dusan who gave me the cuttings said the pulp of the variety I have is Pink.

Both are nice looking fruits.
There seems to be some resemblance to Conadria.

I find your very similar to the Yellow marseille. The other fig I have that's similar is Well sweep.

Nelson i hope those pics help

Two wks later I finally picked another fig. This time I let it go longer and was more ripe. The taste was greatly improved much sweeter with a real figgy taste not many seeds but melt in your mouth like soft candy. The worst part is I had to quarter it so it was a tease.

Looks mighty tasty, Sal. Thanks for posting.

Sal that fig looks delicious.

Thanks Tim and Nelson. I was kind of disappointed with the first 2 I picked and I see now that it was my fault picking to early. If you can see in the 2nd pic the skin is cracking and getting brown which I believe to be sugar spots and sign of ripeness. Like I said I only got to taste 1/4 of fig and it had a nice lingering taste

Sal

Sal, you have a delicious looking fig. Well, Baud said the smaller fig is sweeter. With time it will be a treasure. I have Yugo yellow and although my tree did not have any ripe figs this year, I am looking forward to next year. I have heard good things about Yugo Yellow & so too about Dusan's palestine fig.
