I was puttering around the web, and as I was rereading Ray Given's site, I started wondering...Are the UCD numbers serial? If so, how come we've seen 287-128, Galbun, 291, 276-49, figs like those, floating around for twenty years or more, but what seems to be more interesting 143-36, 187-25, most prominently, were never named or even floating around before very recent times? I haven't seen any mention of the 300s either, while perusing old media, nor K-6-5 etc.
