I had considered weighing them...then ate them. I'll have to wait for more to ripen :) They get pretty large. I never considered the tree might be LSU Purple because the photos I've seen by chance all have vividly purple colored figs with pink interiors. Mine just go from red streaked to a dull red/purple and are amber inside. I have not seen any good pics of the leaves. Maybe someone with LSU purple will post some for comparison.

I weighed 8 and got an average of 27g. The largest was 36g.

My opinion as i had ,an LSU purple in the past,and i have an young one now again,is your tree is an LSU Purple.
Just Search "LSU Purple" on this site and  see if you agree.

And by the way:LSU purple is amber inside, with a little pink close to the eye.
