I received cuttings, ( including marseilles black (VS)) from a reliable forum member a few years ago.
they came individually labelled and I got 3 marseilles black (VS) out of it.
one I have traded away.
the story is the other two.
for the first 2 years they exhibited the identical leaf pattern.
3rd year one showed some leaves with variation, and both put out similar looking figs.
This year one has standard leaf pattern, every leaf almost identical in overall shape, and figs look like the ones in variety list. The other not so much. It has wild variation in leaf pattern, still some leaves that look like the other one but not many, and the figs are not looking the same at all.
First three pics are of one plant, the next four are of the one with leaf variation. Is such leaf variation normal in the variety. and a fig pic of what both produced last year as breba.
