Will this figlet black Madeira make it?

I don't have a greenhouse yet, I'm in south NJ zone 7a-7b. Will the smallest Black Madeira fig in the picture ripen? Do we have enough time in the season? Or should I just remove it now?
Thanks guys!

I'm in zone 6a and just based on what I know, I'm going to guess...probably not.  I'd remove it so more energy can go to the larger fruit.

Is the tree in the ground or in a container?

If it's containerized, you could probably leave it.

Justin, in my opinion, probably not.  If there were less fruit on that tree, I'd say yes it might.  Being that the tree is pretty loaded, it will likely slow down the ripening of that little guy.  My standard in our area though is if set by July 1st, it may ripen... depending on how early frost comes.  A heavy bearing, long ripening tree, like Black Madeira is a bit of an exception when it is loaded with fruit as I believe that impacts/slows ripening time even further.

Thanks Nick, I may bring in house after September
