Will This work ???

I'm already trying to root 3 single regular cuttings just in case , but I really will like to root this hole peace, is it possible? Has anyone done it before? What is the best and safe way to root the hole thing?

This is what I did so far:

it is fine to start out, but you want to make the top a bit more loose. When I root long cuttings such as yours, I do similar to this for the upper portion, I make very small holes (pen tip size) for some breathing, so no mold , and tie the upper portion in a bag, just below the set of branches with rubber band or twist tie.
Treat the bottom as a regular cutting, score it, treat with hormone, wrap in loose moist moss, and wrap newspaper over to secure the moss in place, use another plastic bag for the bottom portion and put the entire thing inside of a black garbage bag and upside down near a heat source (my furnace venting)  every other day you check for moisture on the upper branches, if newspaper dries up, give a sprinkle of water, but not too much. put it upside down. recheck every 3 days.  Branches like this tend to dry out quicker, so you need to really monitor the mold possibility, if you smell any, remove the upper cover, rinse and shake excess water, air out, and start all over with fresh paper- without messing with the lower portion.. hope that helps.

It is making me laugh...

Is it possible to make a rough drawing please so I get a better understanding?

Grasa's advice is good and another way is to use Jon's bag method but with a bigger bag.  See getting started.

Here is how I do mine- and upside down it goes until it is rooting and branches show life.
This works for me! I put see through pastic for the bottom, so I don't have to open to inspect.  I use this amazon bags for the branches, because this plastic breathes and I don't have to check the  branches as often. Leaving it hanging also does not require touching it, they dont like to be handled! this way I can monitor if the paper is still moist, plenty of air around the branches and works!

Do I see a fig-ghost or is it a fig-mummy?!

Seriously, I would have first chopped that
branch into at least 5 manageable cuttings.

Ooh, all the things we do for them figs....

if you see a root, plant it. nothing wrong with rooting christmas tree :)

I already trying to root single cuttings from this type, it would be cool if I did this whole thing :)
I am just practicing different methods

branches tend to dry out, this way gravity helps but forcing roots quicker. that is my experience. there is a good video on grapes, similar to rooting for figs as well, you want stronger roots first.

Thanks for the video and all your help.
I had no more moss so I did this instead:

1)I put root hormone on the bottom part
2) I mixed 50/50 perlite with seed starter
3) I wrapped every branch with most bounty so they won't dry out
4) I put a clear bag over it so I keep the moist inside ( I did not cover the whole pot so the water can drain every time I water it)

should I also put a black bag over it to keep the light out?

if the bag tuch the upper points of the tree will it rotten it?

Will this work?

your opinion means a lot to me

somehow I could not post the pictures here so I post them below
