I just went to Dave's Garden, http://www.davesgarden.com, to see how the garden watchdog is rating Willis Orchard. They have a lot more negative comments than they did in August. There are fig complaints as well as complaints about every thing else they sell. They ought to fire their shipping department and hire people who can read the tags on their plants. Probably should buy at your own risk..

I never dealt with them , i was at the site as well just browsing around and what caught my eye was on one the pages right at the top was an ad by google advertising said company .

as far as i'm concerned, they ripped me off bigtime and i'd never buy another thing from them.  the plants they sold me were in extremely poor condition.  i say this because i bought from several places online, and the worst by far were the willis plants.

I got one fig off of the Willis tree marked Italian Everbearing and it looked exactly like the figs on the Willis tree they marked as Brown Turkey. The figs are greenish with purple splashes and a golden interior. They are larger than the Celeste that willis marked as a Desert King. I think the lables were 100% wrong :).
