Nice!  What kind?

This is an air layering of a large green fig I originally obtained from Edible Landscaping many, many years ago. Name is long forgotten.

Now thats one light color fig i would grow .
That is only if it grows money like that.  ; )

Won't that take too much energy from the plant?

The root system is well established, so it will have no problem surviving... plus, I have plenty of the same type both in ground and in pots.

If it were an RDB or Black Madeira, I would have picked the fig off a long time ago. I've never had a fig ripen in January before. I think it's neat having such a large fig on  a little plant..bonsai-like.
