Noticed just in the last few days the green fading on this wire pot mislabeled tree, probably VdB...
So I'm standing there looking at this tree when I see an ant, then another and another. They scaled the brick to nest in this nice bunch of bark! I doused the whole thing with a gallon of permethrin mix, They came out by the thousands all around the wire. After they started to fall off I flushed with fresh water, then gave it a gallon of water with a handful of garden lime. Figured ants are acidic. Inspected all other pots and no sign of any ants in them.
