Hi, I am very new at growing Figtrees but the bug has gotten hold of me. Anyone out there can help me add to my collection? I live in Malaysia hot and sunny with good rainfall. Humid too. I need to buy some cuttings from you. Please e-mail me and let me know what varieties you have for sale. Thank you, regards Annie Low

Welcome to F4F.

I would suggest you get in touch with a few Malaysians here in F4F. Also there is a grower in
Malaysia known as FIG MALAYSIA. He has quite a collection & his setup seems to be commercial.
Key note is to go for varieties with close eyes like Conadria, Hardy Chicago, RdB etc. Otherwise given tropic's
rainy traits, you will be most disappointed how bland they taste, spoiling easily with rain, rupturing & insects
crawling into their large open eye.

Another point to note -- fig trees in Malaysia if planted in the ground GENERALLY grows as if they are on steriods
becos of the climate.
