World o' Moss

Does it matter what moss is used for starting cuttings? I just came home with what I thought was a bag of sphagnum moss. It actually is something called "Green Moss." Anything dangerous/untoward about using this with my precious new cuttings?

Thanks for any responses

Most of us use Long Fibered Spagnum Moss. Its easy to find and works great. Dont keep it wet. Only damp, remember humidity is the key. Home Depot sells the Mosser Lee Brand. Many people don't like its quality, but I've had good results with it.
Use the search feature, there is lots written on the subject.

I have been using "Green Moss" successfully with no problem for the past two years. I have used it repeatedly after running water through it for clean-up wash after a couple of uses. Of course fresh one each time will be better but if it can be reused and works then why not use it again.
