would like to thank a very generous member.

thanks to a very generous forum member, my 3 initial CdD collection is finished. CdDG came in today. now i will have to look for the rest :)

Pete.... wonderful, your good karma pays off.

Wishing you much success with your gift.   Now that I know you have, I may come begging in a few years.  Those CdD's seem hard to come by this year........ urgh

I don't know Pete,

Close to light and not quite dark. What would Martin say?

Congrats and good luck with it.

What about Coll de Dama Rimada, Martinenca and the others from Mallorca?

It never ends!!! :)

Congrats Pete! Can't wait to hear which one you like the best.

rafed, we will just say it's "dark" for martin's sake. it's not exactly green or yellow.. so...

harvey, the rest will have to wait. i do have source for them, but... long story.

art, i'm hoping to taste CdDN this yr. the tree is doing amazingly well this yr. even faster than CdDB which is little older than N.

Hope it does great for you Pete.

It's sort of a Day-walker.

According to a very knowledgeable member the 3 Cdd taste about if not the same .

that's what i have heard. all are same in taste or very close. tho, i only had CdDB so far. hope CdDN will ripen figs this yr, and maybe CdDG will do that next yr. if they all taste like CdDB, they will be all keepers.

I see you mention CDDN grew well for you , ours also.
Enjoy the Darkside !

Very nice Pete, if my grafts take I'm a couple seasons away from tasting one, can't wait!

martin, i'll have to see the figs. i'm sure it's CdDN, but i have not see the ripe fig on it yet. it's from CRFG via one of the generous members on the forum. but yes. it has most beautiful growth so far. uniform node interval, good number of new branches coming out towards the top. it would make a wonderful center piece.
