WOW! this fig is amazing! Clove/cinnamon undertones!

Another unknown I got as a cutting gave to my father and now I'm completely regretting it! lol I've never had anything like this fig! It literally taste like berry fig meets clove spice! My new favorite does anyone know of a fig that has a clove/ cinnamony undertone flavor to it! My father has been telling me it's the best fig he's ever had, and he's had all of my top tasters! Last week he had a piece of the black Madeira I got, and said it's good but I like the other better! I completely understand where he is coming from now! And I have to agree! The only way to explain it is clove spice cinnamon berry fig! Please has anyone tried anything similar! Is it to late in season to do airlayers? Cause this is freaking amazing!

Man! That sounds so delicious! Sorry I can't help with an ID, but I would sure love to purchase some cuttings, depending on your location.

Sounds good. Would like to see the leaf 🍃 pic. The fruit looks like southern Celeste which is a winner. Richie

My only fig that looks close to this one is the Celeste. Its fruit has the same colors and size, and awesome tasting when ripe, with an increasing complex flavor as the tree gets older.
This one is usually one of the first trees to ripen its fruit down here.
