I guess maybe now I may be getting paranoid - with my first fig supposedly being a turkey but finding out years later its not and having no idea what it is.  Then to find out that Panachee is suppose to  have variegated stems and mine doesn't NOW today my so called Desert King fig has its first ripe fruit.  Is there ever an instance where a Desert king fig is bronz-ish red instead of green???  I ordered this from the same place and at the same time I ordered the Panachee also have an Italian fig from there that has yet to fruit so have no idea if it may be right or not.  All I know is the fruit thats on my desert king looks NOTHING like pictures Ive seen.
