WTB: 40 cuttings each of Celeste, Desert King and a mix of Peter's and/or Italian Honey

There's a lot of interest in figs lately locally. In April I'm going to be teaching a workshop on propagating cuttings. Nothing anyone here would want to attend - much too basic. I'm giving them Hardy Chicago, Brown Turkey (to increase the chance of success) and I'd like to include some Celeste, Desert King and a good tasting Honey fig if I can get 40 cuttings whether it's from one person or 4 people. More than 4 would be too much in shipping [smile]

They'd have to be the kind of cuttings that would store well and root well for a first timer.  No green cuttings and thicker than a pencil but 3/4" or less and first or second year wood.

Anyone have 10 - 40 Celestes, Desert Kings, or non-kadota honey fig cuttings they want to get rid of?

Thanks.

I have 40 celeste cuttings i can cut. No desert king , turkey or anything else. I have white ischia too but nit 40 will have to look i just pruned the white ischia and rooted,a bubch but have more in friggerater

Does Florea count as a honey fig Bob?

Daisy and I happily have the Brown Turkey covered. Working on them today. I would love to hear your presentation Bob. Where is it being given? I'm writing an article on Figs with some botanical info, history, etc. for the local paper and "Edible" magazine. I'll shoot you a copy, maybe something in it would be useful for your class. Happy Saturday! Playing with figs instead of xmas shopping. All I want for xmas is a ripe fig! ;-)

I don't know, I've never had it.  My plant hasn't fruited yet.  PM me if you want to work out the details  :)

I have Desert King.

Just tell me how many you want and when you would like them cut and sent.

That's a great offer, Bob. Shirley's DK is amazing. I have a few started from her cuttings. They are great rooters, too!
